This Week’s Prayers and Praise

Praise God for:

  • Providing all that we need and more so that we can cover all of our costs in 2019
  • Our many other answered prayers, as shown in testimonies given in our services
  • Our Bishops Donald and John, and all the clergy who serve in our diocese
  • Everyone who volunteers their time and gifts to help in church
  • Our NHS and its provision of healthcare to our country
  • All who work unpaid or volunteer to help charity organisations
  • Our freedom to worship openly and without fear

Please pray for:

  • Our children’s groups and especially for Ignite and the upcoming Christmas WOW; Wednesday 20th Nov is Universal Children’s Day – let us pray for the children of our communities and let us commit ourselves to their flourishing
  • Our fellowship here at Gleneagles
  • The Steps to Freedom in Christ Day this Saturday 17th November
  • Our PCC meeting on Wednesday 20th November, for God’s guidance, good decisions and good fellowship
  • Our commitment to be a praying church and to deepen our relationship with God
  • Our church building project, that God will bless and increase our funding
  • Our church finances, that God will provide
  • Children all over the world who will be receiving their shoe boxes filled with gifts sent with God’s love in the coming weeks

For meditation:

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction.

Isaiah 48:10

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING

If you have a prayer need which you would like to be included in ‘Prayers this week’ please send to Melvyn by Wednesday for inclusion that week.  THANK YOU.

Did you know that individual prayer is available after each Sunday morning service?
Just make your way to the seating area in the foyer of the church where a member of the Prayer Team will be waiting to pray with you.

Additionally, Churches Together Prayer Meetings are open to everyone. They meet at Nations at 8 pm each Monday evening.
