This Week’s Prayers and Praise

Praise God for:

  • All of His mercy and grace shown in answers to our prayers
  • Our freedom and ability to talk with and worship Him in private and in public
  • Our outreach and mission, especially the Hope into Action project, Bereavement Group, Death Cafe, Ignite, Recharge, Self-esteem group, and all of those ministries and acts of witness that go on quietly and unannounced
  • The worldwide Anglican Communion and its work
  • All of those who work to produce crops and food to feed the world’s people

Please pray for:

  • The work and mission of Melvyn, Ali, our churchwardens Chris and Elizabeth, our PCC and everyone who serves in our church
  • Our building project, for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit
  • Safe travel for all who may be taking holidays this summer, and rest and refreshment for all, whether they travel or stay at home
  • Mark and Arleen as they prepare for their missionary work
  • All who work in the industries that produce the energy that enables us to heat and light our homes and towns
  • That we might be good stewards of the resources on the planet that God has given us to care for

For meditation:

As I walk with you, Lord,

I begin to see this world

As you must do, and know

we must work together

To make it a better place,

Which begins with hearts,

hands and feet in service.

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING

If you have a prayer need which you would like to be included in ‘Prayers this week’ please send to Melvyn by Wednesday for inclusion that week.  THANK YOU.

Did you know that individual prayer is available after each Sunday morning service?
Just make your way to the seating area in the foyer of the church where a member of the Prayer Team will be waiting to pray with you.

Additionally, Churches Together Prayer Meetings are open to everyone. They meet at Nations at 8 pm each Monday evening.
